Sprite Slam Dunk Fan Faceoff
Any closer to the action and we would've had these fans trying to protect their faces from wayward basketballs.
Objective
Fire up young basketball fans for the 2010 Sprite Slam Dunk contest by putting them right in the middle of the action where they could show their support for their favorite NBA dunkers.
Approach
We created the Fan Faceoff site, which let fans create their very own digital Dunkfan character to cheer on the Slam Dunk contestants in an addictive, fast-paced game. Fans could even print out and craft their own paper Dunkfan models.
Results
Turner Sports, which operates NBA.com for the league, touts Fan Faceoff as the most successful brand integration in the site’s history.
